It's the New Androsko Observer!

The Welcome Dino says "Hello!"

After a very, very long time languishing in my online to-do list, I finally put the finishing touches on my personal blog and am launching it onto the Interwebs. Don’t feel bad if you don’t remember the old site. Even I have a hard time remembering it, which is probably why I was so bad about updating it. That was before I did the overhaul of the Therefore Productions sites: ThereforeYou.com (our company blog) and ThereforeProductions.com (our company site). Crafting those sites was a real learning experience, and I wanted to bring that back to my own site to make it better than ever. I think I’ve pulled it off in big way.

First off, this isn’t a political site anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll gladly talk politics with you, but not here. This is more of an ideas space, centered on a few common topics: technology, media, arts, video games, philosophy, and my Disney-like futurist streak. What do you expect of someone who grew up longing to be in Epcot Center? Yes, I LOVE EPCOT, and I will fight you over it.

To serve my varied interests, I spent a lot of time creating some really useful sections on the site. There’s an easy-to-navigate gallery on the Videos page, and my Pictures page is linked to my Picasa account and grouped into albums. My Articles page will have lengthy pieces on topics that I need to explore in detail. Of course, I’ve given Therefore Productions it’s own page, complete with links to our sites. You should check out all our sketch comedy videos, including the viral hit Pacman: The Movie trailer. You can also see the newest ThereforeYou posts to the left in my sidebar.

Now that I have time to work on my blog, there’s lots to come. I have three articles planned that I’m very excited about, and I’d like to hear what people have to say on the topics. Until then, say “hello” back to the Welcome Dino!

  • The design for the new site is amazing!

The legend of the Welcome Dino was long and tumultuous. The people sang of his journey like the breeze took to the skies. Before the first feathery raptor fluttered his feathery eyes, the Welcome Dino reigned his presence down upon the blue marble known as earth. Yet, as a being exalted and adored, a single tear streamed down the Welcome Dino’s leathery cheek; for, you see, all the Welcome Dino ever wanted was to be welcomed himself – as an equal, as a neighbor, and as a brother in spirit. Keep your chin up, Welcome Dino. Someday, you’ll be home.
