One of my favorite little They Might Be Giants songs, “Spider”, paired up with some totally rad motion graphics and kinetic typography.

 I’ve long been a fan of The Go! Team, and I am rapidly falling in love with it the music video for “Doing It Right”.  I love the “In CinemaScope” title card in the Forbidden Planet credits, so I set it as my desktop background. Now it’s like my computer is in CinemaScope!  Just something I’ve had floating around in my head the past few days, in line with the video game art kick I’ve been on. I call it “Homemade Gaming”.  I managed to get my hands on some “leaked” warning info for the Playstation Move controller. Watch out for balloons!  I made a rather wonderful discovery at my local Toys R Us: a life-size firefighter made entirely out of Legos!  Being a shameless Pixar devotee, I had to stop at their booth while I was at SIGGRAPH. Visiting them was one of the big reasons I went.  I did the camera work on this music video for “Teenage Spaceman” by Booka Shelf, directed by Camiren Romero, shot on a Canon 7D.  I’m in the middle of redesigning my career website, and I was trying to come up with an icon for the concept of web development. I really love the way this turned out.  After a long time tweaking and refining, I came up with a new logo for myself. I call it the “Balance” logo. |
